# Privacy policy

This policy covers the WilloSend website at willosend.com. How we handle email data in the WilloSend product is described on our [security page](/security/).

## What we collect

-   **Waitlist email address.** When you join the waitlist we receive your email address, the page you signed up on, your referrer and any campaign tags in the link (for example `utm_source`).
-   **Analytics.** We use PostHog, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to see which pages and campaigns are useful. They collect page views, approximate location, device and browser information, and use cookies or similar identifiers.
-   **Visits.** When you open our site, our server notes the page you opened, where you came from (the referrer), your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We use this to understand which pages and campaigns work.
-   **Emails you send us.** If you write to hello@willosend.com we keep the correspondence.

## Why we use it

-   To email you about access to WilloSend.
-   To understand which pages and campaigns are useful.
-   To reply to your messages.

## Who processes your data

-   Cloudflare, for hosting and the waitlist endpoint.
-   Slack, where waitlist signups and notifications about new visits (page, referrer and approximate location) are posted for our team.
-   PostHog, Google and Meta, for website analytics.

These providers may process data outside your country. We don't sell personal data.

## Cookies

Our analytics tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or clear them in your browser settings, and most browsers and extensions let you block trackers.

## Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or ask us to stop emailing you, by writing to [hello@willosend.com](mailto:hello@willosend.com). Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.

## Retention

We keep waitlist emails until you've been invited and had the chance to join, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's settings.

## Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell waitlist members by email.
